I know that you can visualize a lot more of functioning circuits in your head with all the work you have done. That's real learning, mate. Good on ya!

I also post the circuit and the firmware assembler source code and hex file directly to here as attachment.
Use on your own risk, of cource.

Hi Teemo

Don't quite know why I'm having problems posting today. These are the files on how I build my PI Pin-pointer

No problem, perhaps you can use a few bits and pieces for yours.

Hi
I have once more update to the firmware. Cool
Now I added automatic comparator reference calculation. This is for the internal PIC circuitry. This improvement is based on the feedback from the builders and makes it even more easier to get the circuit running with different coils.
However I never had much feedback about computer connection firmware. At the moment the connection possibility is included in the default firmware (activated by pressing button two times fast. Should I keep it there or should I do "regular" firmware without this function, to keep it simple? Because of that RS232 code the firmware gets unnecessarily complicated. I guess the firmware code is already enough complex, even without RS232 for anyone to understand but me. But who cares, just use it, its free Smiley.
I add new ver assembler source code, and hex ver1.26 here as attachment too.

And I got PCBs. Also available from my

Isn't the external programming just a bit select to turn it on? Using the external programming cable via the Microchip interface is a snap. You could use that instead of full RS-232.
