Welcome aboard T'hunting!

I agree and second Micks recommendations here and the AT pro is a great machine as is the Tesoro Tiger shark.
You also might look at the Whites line up of models.

Cheers,  Great
Jim

Hi Frank,

Check the ebay site out, you might get lucky and find one listed thats nice.

Also, check this forums (For Sale) florum, as every once in awhile one gets listed...

You'll move from Foil member up pretty fast, just keep posting and stuff and you'll be Bronze very soon....enjoy this place, theres a lot to do and read...

Best Regards, Smiley

That's an outrageous depth for small objects. Looking for a buried 44 gallon drum? Almost any machine will do that. Looking for a coin or ring? Not a snowball's chance in the Alice, mate.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

500mm is pretty deep for any detector. Otherwise it sounds like you are looking for the AT-Pro. But, there are many good detectors out there - And almost every one of us will suggest the ones we prefer because we know them the best. Make a list of what you want it to do, where you want to hut, what you want to find, how much you want to spend, and if you want graphics or not. Compare the list to all the detectors in your price range. Then go somewhere that has layaway and use that dollar amount as your down payment.
