What would be a good reasonable priced upgrade from a White's Classic III. My wife promised me a new detector.  Detecting

What type of hunting do you prefer to do?  And do you want to stick with White's or are you open to another brand?  Also, what are the things you like most about your Classic III and what do you like least about it?   Knowing the answers to these 3 questions will help answer your question.  (so will knowing what you consider "reasonably priced" to mean).   And finally are you looking for a New in Box detector or a new gently used detector?

Pretty much what I'm hunting now, coins, jewerly and the like. I like that it's easy to use, but i'd like something that's lighter. Also the one I have has no depth indicator. As far as a reasonable price you'd have to ask my wife, But I don't think she'd want to spend too much

Take a look at the new Garrett Ace 350, the Fisher F4 or F5, the Teknetics Delta 4000, and the White's Coinmaster Pro.   I'm pretty sure one at least one of those would make you very happy (and I don't think any of them would make a major dent in most budgets).

Litte out of price range Larry. I took a quick look at a price and it's more than a months rent. I'm a simple civil servant for the city.
