Thanks, Alan. I found a ghost town that I'll give a try come detecting weather. I always thought it was just the name of a river crossing, but read that it had a post office, blacksmith shop, population of 70. Sue

Thanks, Alan.  I have not seen the swimming hole website before.  I think it will come in handy.

Thanks Alan. I always enjoy the research as much as the hunt. If there's silver or gold to be found....look out.

anything that helps either the newbie or experienced t/her in their quest for somewhere to hunt or somewhere that might get lucky is to me a pleasure especially for those that take the time to say thanks. There are of course a lot who have either no manners or gratitude for what they get.  But im a firm believer of Kharma what goes around comes around some get no good from ill gotten gains.
To those that did say thanks a big thank you back and seriously hope you do well.
