From the Videos I have seen where they test it and 2 other machines it is flawed with Rookie mistakes to the point of them showing the MXT in a bad light and when I did the same tests as they did My MXT All Pro Blew the Doors off it,

2) when the news first broke they said that it was to compete with the Garrett AT Pro and now they are using it to make their own machine look bad By making it out to be better than it is, Hoping the All The MXT Users will Trade in their old MXTs and buy this one to boost sales, When it is NOT as Good as the MXT and there Tester is a Computer programmer in his early 20s nothing else, I have over 5 and a half years in on the MXT and over 3000 hours, and most of what they say is BS.

so don't fall for all the Smack talk from them, Its waterproof and that is the only major thing it has to offer, and it you are not going diving with it then it is not giving you anything special and you will Loose Depth.

Thanks for that information, John!  Good to have the comparison from someone experienced!   Great

Arfie, If you are going in deep water I would say get it, but if your just worried about rain and such then don't worry because all Whites machine have weather seals on them and you can use them in the rain for weeks and water will not get in,

First off they said this machine was designed to compete with the AT Pro, and now one of their Very Young computer people have tried to show the MXT up so I got stuck in to him/them because they made the MXT look worse than the MX-5, But they had a concentric coil on the MX5 and if they had put that coil on the MXT it would have blown the doors off them all because White made the MXTs to be Calibrated with the 9.5 concentric coil and when the did an Air test showing target separation they set the machine up so it rang out as iron, So I did the exact same tests they did and they said the MXT could only see a Quarter at 9 and a half inches when I tested mine I could hit it at 12 to 13 inches and using the third tone or all metal I could get it at 16 inches, so the whole test was rigged from the Start, And I have been having words with some well know people, and its not over yet.

Be warned mate, it's all BS.

I have a dealer that will tell me the truth when they come out and will travel (175mi) over to his shop and test one out. He always said that when they down size any pegboard that the new detector or pegboard is not as good or powerful or deep as the original pegboard or detector, so that said I will test one out and see the difference,I'll look at the you tube video as I haven't seen the one u mentioned yet.   All in all I figured it's just a rehash in a water proof box. I hope they keep the MXT all pro  as its a killer   shortribs

I don't mind an honest Shoot out but when one machine has a concentric coil and the others a DD and the recovery test was the biggest pile of smelly stuff I have ever seen.

So they are not impressed with me because a shouted Foul and I have heard everything them saying thing like the Guy in the Video is a Whites Programmer, and He might well be but I have over 3000 hour up on the MXTs and I have been detecting since that youngster was playing with Teddy Bears, So I don't take kindly to a young pup trying to tell me whats what about the MXT when it has been my Soul Detector for 5 and a half years, so I think I know a bit about them by Now.

Anyway you give it a go you will see what I mean,

Good Luck
