Hello everyone,

Among all the detecting activities, gold metal detecting is the most interesting one. We can not only relax both our mind and body , but also find a big fortune if we are lucky enough. Next time if you feel bored, you can pick up a gold metal detector and have a try.

Any idea, suggestions would be appriciated,

Thanks,

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Buy what you can afford. Modern detectors are pretty much matched in ability within a price range. If you have a detector shop nearby, visit it. Listen to what experienced detectorists tell you about each model. Try one out in the shop. You also mentioned they are available at your local library. Most likely they are of the Turn It On and Go variety like a Garrett or Tesoro. All detectors will find metal and gold. You can always upgrade later and have a spare. Most likely, if you are avid at using your machine, one season will gather enough coins, rings and relics to buy a better machine.

Good luck and welcome to this forum.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
