I just won a Killer B Stinger headphone for my Tesoro. I have been using some ear buds which work well, but were very loud and the straight cord is always getting tangled. I tried some Koss phones with volume control, but the sound quality was terrible. I have noticed during my hunts that I usually leave one ear phone off to hear my daughter, people approaching me, and animals. It bothers me a little to shut off my hearing to everything around me. I can see the advantage of two phones at the beach, but even then, I like to be able to hear my daughter.
I did some research and stumbled across the single phone ear headphone. I looked at the Rattler and the Stinger, but both are pretty pricey. The reviews on the Killer B phones were really good, but I did not see much for the Stinger. I saw one on ebay and won it today. I did not expect to win actually. I set a price and went detecting. When I got home, I had won!
I know it is a little late for an opinion now that I bought them, but does anyone use the Stinger, and how do you like it? I am hoping it will work out perfectly for my needs.
