Before hunting, we need to do some preparing work.  we should get all tools that hunting treasure need, which including Detector, Digging Tool, Pin Pointer, Glove and Boots.

Detector: there have many detector sale on the market with different price. under your budget, choose a    detector that have functions you need. if you are a beginner, please select a detector for beginner. when I start studying, I bought MD-3006G.
Pros: Three different voice prompts (for different metals); measuring dial prompt different metal types; horizon adjustment; display was detected as non-ferrous metal or non-ferrous metals
Cons: less convenient nighttime detection

Digging Tools:  after you find treasure, you need to do some digging work. with some good digging tools, you will be more efficient.

Pin Pointer: a Pin Pointer is necessary. a place which have hidden treasure is usually secluded. Pin pointer will help to determine right direction   and you will not be lost.

Glove and Boots: Hunting is a outdoor activity, so we need to prepare glove and boots to protect ourself.

Wish you a good lucky!

Good tips. Thanks for posting them.

I would also add a first aid kit and insect repellent to the list. I keep water, soap and a small plastic dishpan in the trunk as well to wash my hands if I cut myself.
