I'm a Newbie (owned a relic 30years ago) that's picking up a Relic 6 and now have been offered a 77b Professional for a 100.00 it looks in Perfect condition but have not seen it work yet.
How do these compare? and should I not pass up a 77 for that price?

I'm looking to prospect my 100+ year old homestead and property for old Farm and Logging parts and whatever else I can find

Yes pass that one up unless you like relics.  LOL

That's a moldy for sure.

With a few more dollars you could do a whole lot better.
