A seller on eBay"buti64" sold me one and was a total dick,but when his time was up for him to resolve the issue,eBay made the decision within 2 hours and refunded me.

You have a fake if doesn't sound off like on "diggers".
If t only beeps when you wave it across a target its a counterfeit china fake.
Also the CE & FC on a real Garrett are CE on the left side and the FC is on the right side.
The fakes have both CE & FC on the left side.
Also the fake says made in " Garland Texas" USA and a real Garrett only says "Made in the USA"
