Hi does anyone know where I can get a PCB for the EPE MAGNETOMETRY LOGGER. It was an article in the Everyday Practical Electronics in 2004. Wimborne publishers are supposed to be the source, but they don't answer their emails. I can only assume they are I longer in business

No but there are quite a few on the net so should not be to hard to find a good schematic, just make sure you get the hex file that goes with it though. Found one here.

Great Link Xavier. Thanks. I went to MikroElektronika site, but the BIGPIC4 is now obsolete and has been replaced by the BIGPIC5. Not sure what the differences are, because there are so many features. A little to rich for my blood right now.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Well I've never used such big development boards I normally make one for what I need. I was busy working on a development board for the PI detector but never got round to finishing it, yet another project to complete  Grin

Hi I have a copy of the magazine article with full schematic and PCB layout. Does anyone know of a source that can make a 1 off of this board at a reasonable price.

EPE Magnetometer? see in download page,  EPE Magnetometer with hex one is version 450 and other is 411,
The good software you can use with to put it in 3D is Magnoradar.

With time and smarts you could use Vero Board on that one.
