I just leave them there or throw them away in a bare spot.
 So when are they going to say that digging up old coins is a criminal offense too?

If I reported what I find they would owe me money after all the expenses for the equipment and gas compared to the finds.
Only those treasure searchers find anything really worth reporting.

The law is very similar here.
A ranger told me some time ago while he was checking my miner’s licenses that I was aloud to take the gold out of the ground, but any coins or artifacts I found I should put them back in the ground, for the future archaeologists to find.
I offer to hand them in (if I found anything  Wink ) but as he said they had not the “ facilities ” for that.
