Hi,

I am working on a new documentary project and am looking to meet and interview people who are hunting for KGC gold and the lost Confederate treasury silver and gold. Please reach out to me here or send me a PM!

Thank you!

Another documentarian? Seriously? We've seen very many requests like this one but not a single documentary has resulted.

Start out by stating your credentials. Some of us have been treasure hunting for the better part of 50 years. All you are going to find with your post are amateurs. The pros know better.

I work at a production company in NYC called Gulp. We have a variety of shows that have been produced and aired. We are shooting next month and I am hoping to connect with people who have done this type of work for the better part of 50 years! Would love to talk to you. You sound like you got some good stories!

Thanks!

LOL - I am quite experienced and will be at JFK on Thursday morning next week. I am very skeptical about any KGC or CSA treasure mostly because the South lost the war due to lack of money. Their treasury was stone cold broke. They had nothing to bury.

This may sound like Spock but knowing those facts makes it highly illogical that there would be any buried gold.

The south may have been broke, but that doesn't explain why the KGC was burying money.  You are apparently assuming that they were one and the same.

The KGC was a fictional story that manages to convince people 90 years after it was written that it is a factual, real organization.

When I said the south was broke, I meant the Confederate treasury was at zero dollars. They had no money to send off with anyone to bury. Period.

Keep looking for it though. It'll keep you busy for the rest of your life. Thinking men and women will look at the facts.

2 questions...
If the KGC is a fictional story, then who carved all those trees, carved all those rocks, bent all those trees, buried all those markers, and buried all that gold?  And why is it that anyone posting on the KGC on thunting.com gets a lashing from you?

You call this a lashing? Toughen up, buttercup. This is nothing.

Trees that are 150 or more years old cannot possibly be useful. The rocks? Who on earth hides a treasure of any kind giving arrows pointing straight to it? That's insane.

The story of the alleged Knights of the Golden Circle was originally a newspaper serial published as fiction after the Civil War. It helped take people's minds off of the horror they had just endured. It was made up and somehow, with each retelling, it gets legs and more people believe it. As I have repeatedly said, you can believe it if you wish but the more serious treasure hunters here will sit around a campfire and smile knowingly. You have a fish hook in your lip and you like it there.
