Go Up Go Down

the insulator in the picture by itself is dated 1893 on the skirt, and it took me a while to get down from where i found it.  i was up on the opposing cliff and looked over and could see it from across the way, it took me a while to get there and then i found myself inching my way back down.  the other insulators and bottle pieces were found just by hiking around and digging an old mining towns trash pile.

very nice....I especially like the grayish-green one in the second picture.  I don't believe I've ever seen one that color.

those old ghost/mining town would be a blast to rummage aroung in.saw a show a few years ago about a guy who found a pair a old Levis jeans in an shack that probably been rooted threw a few dozen times.turns out that those levis were so old that even the Levi company didn't have a record of them(they had a fire in the early 1900s)don't remember how much they gave him but it was a nice amount
