Back in the 70's I got a job in Tucson tearing apart old air craft.

We would be inside, 140f in the hulk pulling out the Asbestos and Fiber Glass.

No Masks, No Ventilation just the baking sun .

It would get so hot you had to fill your tool box with water only taking out stuff that would rust bad or mess up and make sure it was under the wing of the plane you was working on.

I was in Greece when Chernobyl Blew it's top and Greece was the last to report Rad levels.  All the Sheep and Goats disappeared,  Sign were hung on the Fruit trees not to Eat. If you look and see were the Plum went, you would never know what happened. LOL!

We Took a Major Dose!

I worked for a Micro Wave outfit for six years.

We had a habit of doing HOT CUTS!  that's when you move a peace of Active Wave Guide from one source to another.

The hair on the back of your Neck would stand up.

Two of the folks I worked with are dead.

1 Leukemia

The other Thyroid Cancer.

Did I mention I've been smoking since age 13?

At 53, Cancer is Least of my worries!

I just need a Job!

Yeah i hear ya HF, my works gone abit quite,to get my self started i did all the odd jobs people could'nt get done, from fixing washin lines to gate posts ,cleaning patio's to full on building work and it went from 150$ amonth to about 4000$ and then it goes quite again, and i aint worked since the first week in november and i've just got one job in today, When i first started off I put post cards in shop windows and then thing rearly took off,
you'd be surprized how many husbands are not to good at fixin things around the home and thats where i get most of my work, In Australia i had my own panel shop and i use to an  auto shop building V8s and giving them the go fast treatment and i went to colledge so i was qualified for that also and in the winter i'd be cuttin timber. so i know how you feel. We got the combined knowledge of the F O Gs
