Thanks, it was great although it was too dang hot to go metal detecting. I can't wait until the temps in Arizona drop back down from the 95F-115F (35C - 46C) range to the 77F - 90F (25C - 46C) range. Dry heat or not, I'm getting too old to deal with those high temps. So this is my research, planning and maintenance time of the year------unless of course, I or someone else comes up with a promising site high enough in the wooded mountains to be cool that is still close enough for a day trip.
I am going to post some finds from my last trip (April 1). I was out looking for a lost ring, which I didn't find, when I found some first generation Willy's Jeep parts. Look for them sometime Tuesday.
