Well, I got a new Iphone which has wifi and usb network capabilities like you (GD) suggested. I was planning on getting a new phone anyways. Had mine for two years so it was an "antique" anyways. Being able to use it as a modem pushed it over the top.

I have an Android, the free operating system iPhone precursor, and love it. I have a GPS app, one that does tracking for me when I hike keeping a record of where I have been and even suggests a path to continue. I got an app that allows my wife to use my phone as a WiFi hotspot when we drive. She has an ePad, the Android pad by Zenith. What a combination!
