     He seems so Determined I figure just let him spin his gears.    With a long wire antenna the amp section may make a good toy.

I got a kick out of all the parts used just to light an led that tells you the power is on. A pair of rods hooked to nn won't do anything because they have converted any rf signal to low level dc. If anything at all gets near the coil the frequency whould change all over the place. Might be good for a blind person so he won't bump into things.

Probably so.  The thread started out with some guy named Yousef.......somebody looking for someone on the site to supply him with schematics for a proprietary commercial GPR detector. I and Xavier explained that to him that he could not do that.
