That's a noble project. I lived in Albany for a few years and went there a couple of times back in the 1970s. There was a small, lovely court house in the middle of a green that captured my eye. I stopped along the curb to admire it and saw some boxes of papers. When a worker walked out with another, I asked what was going on. He said all pre-1900 documents had to go to make room for storage. I grabbed 2 of them and have wished every day of my life that I had grabbed them all.
Some of the names and signatures on the documents are worth lots of money these days. They reside in storage in San Diego at the moment, waiting for me to sort them out.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
