I AM LOOKING FOR AN OLD MANUAL FOR MY GARRETT ELECTRONICS "THE HUNTER" METAL AND MINERAL DETECTOR.  NO MODEL NUMBER ON THE UNIT.

   Welcome to the Forum  The HUNTER is a Old School BFO detector.  Not much to getting it running.  Switch on and set the tune to a slow beat.  One side of the Null (Tune) will respond to Ferrous Metals and the other Non Ferrous.   The Coil Switch is only used to select one of two coils if your using the dual coil.  Other wise you just select the position that works .

The BFO detector is good for finding back sands and using in or near stream areas.  Idea
