So my wife and I went garage sale today and she came across an antique slot machine in a yard sale. She desperately alerted me about it for I own a few of them. I offered the seller $80 for it due to its rough condition and it not working, but his eager neighbor all of a sudden showed interest and offered $20 over me, so and I ended up getting it for $120. Club Then I spoke to my restorers and they could not believe how I got that machine sooo cheap  Grin. The full restoration will cost around $600 and the value will improve to $1500-2000 Clapp. The third pic is how it should look after restoration. All in all, a great find.  Great

This is indeed once in a lifetime occurrence  Grin. The seller did not know how to price the machine, which he found in the basement when he bought his house. He had given it to his children to play with but decided to sell it and make some money out of it since the kids were no longer interested. I'm very happy with the find and hope to enjoy it for years to come until is time for me to pa$$ it on  Wink

Thanks for the beer. I wish to find at least, at least, (did I say at least?) one gold ring at the lake!  Grin
