, and a subdomain would be mysite.thunting.com. "mysite" can be anything you want.

With a thunting.com subdomain, you can create your own web site. You can write HTML pages, and even use cgi-bin scripts. An FTP account will be set up to give you full access to your subdomain.

Subdomain pages are available at no charge. There are some rules and restrictions associated with this offer. Please read the "Rules" posting in this forum.

To get your subdomain set up, please email me at carl@thunting.com and provide the following info:

• Your name
  
• The name you would like for the subdomain
  
• A "username" for FTP login. There is an 8-character limit. If you do not specify a username, I will assign the subdomain name as the username.
  

Please do not post your request to the forum.

Thunting.com does not provide web page services. We cannot help with HTML or Perl. There are lots of books on web page programming. I highly recommend "HTML for the World Wide Web" by Elizabeth Castro. You will also need FTP software, and there are freeware versions available at
