Hello All

Welcome sebchupin

It would be interesting to find these quarries. Perhaps if you find some old maps might identify the location?

Treasure or no treasure the  place is still interesting enough to look around.

And who perhaps you will get lucky?

Hardluck.

thanks everybody,
let me show you the place we are talking about :

here is a map from 18th century :
the rectangle is (nearly) the Malavaux, the red circle is the oppodium ruins, and I just underline "Virmieux" witch is the place where there could be a souterrain to other a templier castle who don(t exist anymore.

so, you can see the differences, on the first one, we can't see the 2 quarries, but on the third, you can see the new carries wich are .... very big !!!
the "treasur" should be on the est of the river, near a restaurant, but the restaurant have been destructed, and, for the moment, I don't really know where it was !
next message will be about this restaurant, with postcards.

it's quite funny, but I took a picture in the Malavaux, where you can see a ghost !!
in the first message of this topic, Luc talk about the "folle des malavaux" a saracen who came with one fo the templars, and killed herself in the "devil's well", after what people say that she used to haunt the place.

so, I was walking near to this place, I took a lot of pictures, and here is one of these :
