I'm sure that detector was made by Whites or someone under License in the UK. Modeled after the Whites Beachcomber ! Ran TR Mode if I remember right. Had one and gave it away in a Contest. This may help your search.

SAVO Electronics
Got my Ace 250 last week and a friend told me he had a detector.
Today he gave me it, a SAVO Electronics Ltd. Beachcomber, Inverness, Scotland.

I've not heard of them, but I did find this on another forum.
SAVO ELECTRONICS was the name of the factory in Inverness, Scotland where they got the parts from WHITES in the USA and assembled the units here in Scotland. There still is a WHITES ELECTRONICS (UK) Ltd. in Inverness"
I live 15 miles from Inverness and was in Whites showroom a couple of weeks ago.
Very interesting and informative and I will buy my next machine from Whites.
Found very little obout the SAVO but this pic. My Savo has different knob on the meter and a
Savo VLF loop ? coil.
Dave
P.S. Cromarty Firth beach today 5 attractive pieces of scrap iron.
Perhaps go back with a proper BEACHCOMBER!
