Hi everyone,
In this section, you are able to share with others what food you take with you when you go camping out bush.
There are a lot of people that don't really understand the difference between the home pantry and a bush pantry.
for instance, when i go up North or to the West of Australia the country is very harsh. I pack food for remote survival.
some items to consider taking with you -
Powder Milk a must - ( Normal Milk with spoil )
Flour - always a must, i make bread and cakes
Tinned Olive Oil - avoid glass bottles in 4WD's
Sultanas and Raisins - great for cakes, breakfast, bread - good energy source
Water
Camp Oven
If you take meat, Fruit and Vegetables it is a good practice to vaccum seal them - most butchers do this (in Australia).
This is only a small amount to consider, if you plan a trip in the top end of Australia research and prepare well ahead. These remote areas are deadly traps for the Novice.
Share your bush food experiences, tell other what you take and how you cook your food.
