When I first saw Detroit cooking, I thought you were talking about cooking food, wrapped in foil, on the engine of your car as you travel to some detecting spot. There is a book called Manifold Destiny that has the how-to, recipes, etc. Time of cooking is in miles.

I didn't realize Detroit had dropped in population from 2 million to 900,000 and the city of San Francisco could fit on the empty lots.
