Fisher 1225-x

Go Up Go Down

Hi there

Im new to this and need some help with my fisher 1225-x.

I just bought it  the other day (second hand ) from this old lady for a good price. It worked well in the beginning after i fastened some screws on it that were loose. Last knight when i came back from our rugby field i forgot to switch it off and now it keeps on making crackling noises and no sound when i sweep it over metal.

Does anyone got any ideas about my problem? If so please let me know.

Great forum site

Thanks

Johan

Fresh batteries can last up to 12 hours continuous on some models and much less on others. My Compadre, for example, lasts for weeks of hard use - probably 20 hours or more but not continuous. Also, some types of batteries like those labeled "high capacity" or "heavy duty" can discharge and leak while still on the store shelves. Use only alkaline or rechargeable batteries for the safety of your machine.

You check my batteries? Well, that will save me lots of time. How often do you check them for me? I prefer to check them just before I go out.

Should I make up a spare bed?

LOL!   I would If I was Close Enough.

Continental Breakfast?  Two eggs over easy, Canadian Bacon and Hash Browns?

I would do that for you Sir.

All Batteries are not created Equal.

I've purchase Name Brand batteries that was more the Half Flat .

Everything has a Shelf Life.

I use  one Flavor of Family Dollar store batteries that are not quite but close to Copper Tops that work just fine.

Never had a Leak.

All Batches seem the same.

They sell some that are DOA and or just Suck.

They sell one type call Duramax or something like that . Copper Top and all.   They last about 30 minutes and go under.   LOL
