What's the question ?   I do know that people use to bury rolls of coins .  It sure would create a strong signal for any brand of metal detector, even a real cheap one from kmart.

a guy in fort lauderdale i knew got one of the earliest detectors, an all metal, like a jetco.  he found a roll of quarters, all silver, in his schoolyard.  we used to take rolled coinage to school for various reasons, pay for things.  also i know personally of a fine collection of errors that came from a guy who worked carnivals, sorting rolls and other coins he came across, he had errors i did not know existed, i hope to cover that for a numismatic publication one day.....b
