Go Up Go Down

My wife lost her Mother's Wedding ring that she was given just before her Mom passed.  Problem is we don't know for sure where,  and so I came here and received some good info about identifying and operating the detector my sister has loaned me. I have combed just about all of the plumbing drains and all around the home inside.  Another catch is she has been sifting the dirt in all of the raised flower beds around the perimeter because someone previously thought red lava rock was nice, ( wife doesn't like it at all ). I set up a couple of wheelbarrows one with a screen and one to put the sifted dirt in,  that is how she has been cleaning the flower beds. So we are still guessing as to where the ring has gone. An adventure for sure.  I am still looking and learning as I go,  hope I get lucky soon.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Go Up Go Down

I just now saw the message about my location ,  sorry for taking so long to get back.  Have been so busy,  looked everywhere we could think of,  but no ring.  I am located in Redding,CA in the north of the state where it is very hot. I ended up giving the detector we  had borrowed back to my brother-in-law because it didn't seem we were getting anywhere with it( it was a Chinese knock off ). I have contemplated getting one of my own,  but not sure which way to go.  Being a beginner I don't want to invest a large amount of money without knowing what is good and what is not.  I want a unit that will help me get more into this new hobby.  I know of some of the names like White and Garret,  but I don't know that much.  My wife even went so far as to run it by a friend that is a psychic,  she said it is still here ,  but could not pinpoint the location.  I know that is a bit far,  but one needs to at least explore some alternative ways.

Thanks for all the info and help we have received here.

Regards,
