Hi Heather,

My band of hooligans and I have been exploring New England for over 20 years. I think we would be an excellent candidate for your program.

Our exploring involves many aspect of New England that include, history, geology, mineralogy, THing, fantastic locations, folklore, and much more. We have collected an extensive library resources and have assisted in documentaries by local production companies and some involved with some well known cable stations. We are experienced in public speaking and education. We each come from many walks of life and have degrees and career experiences that have been greatly beneficial in our research and exploration of the North East.

New England has a very long and very interesting history that the public is currently very interested in. Over the many years we have dug into that history, we found loads of great stories and places that people love to hear about. We always enjoy posting our stories for the armchair explorers or weekend adventurers. Occasionally we do lectures and interviews to. Though we publish some of our tales online, most of what our fans read is from years before. If we were to stop exploring today, we could continue writing about our adventures.

Thanks Bomber.

I have had bunches of people say that I should host something like this, and I always tell them that I have no desire to.

The best bet for TV producers is to stay close to the community and if someone makes a find of consequence, let their crew film it for a 2 or 3 hour special.

Mike

Go Up Go Down

 Hi Heather,
My name is Tom Langley, I was born in Van Nuys, CA.  and grew up in Belmont Shore, Long Beach. I attended SDSU, I was also in the US Army, spent time overseas.  I lived in Manhattan, and N. Jersey quite a while.  I was an interstate truck driver for a few years.  I'm a big biker (both pedal and motor), I once rode my bicycle solo from NY to here(78 days, 6000 miles...wonderful) I've been actively prospecting for over a decade, and I frequently run my White's Electronics  Spectra V3i metal detector over the local beaches.  I've collected meteorites, fossils, some gold nuggets, jewelry, anecdotes, etc..  This past September, a friend and I made and extensive journey along California's 49er highway.  Every couple of months I spend a week or two in some desert.  I am also very familiar with Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons, as kinfolk have some legacy property there.

Most people seem to find me tolerab...er, I mean personable.  A couple of past girlfriends have indicated that I could have made a decent game show host among other things.  I have an overly optimistic worldview, a marvelous sense of humor and am highly enthusiastic about digging holes and such. I have a fairly extensive network of adventure types to provoke and find myself equally at ease in the wilderness or inner city, chameleon like, if you will. I feel I am in peak physical condition, and I generally like to socialize, in all aspects...This sounds like it may be a pretty good gig,  and I suppose I may be able to contribute in other ways as well, perhaps writing, or creative ideas...etc...I tend to use humor to disarm and benefit my fellow man.  Presently my schedule is clear and I would be able to commit 100% to this project.  Oh, compensation sounds nice, but  I am clearly not into all this stuff for the high profit margin. or the recognition.  Drop me e-line...Thomas Langley.....smileylizard@gmail.com   thanks and good luck

Hi Heather,

I love everything metal detecting & treasure hunting and have been detecting for about 3 years now and while I'm not a professional it is my passion and I hunt as often as I can, usually 4-5 days a week so I would love the chance to be a part of this show in any way shape or form. I recently moved away from Los Angeles but am still only a couple of hours away and am ready to go. Just give me the word and I'm there! Hope to hear from you.

Thank You, Smiley
Frank.

Hello - Heather - we were invited to talk with you and your production hse thru THunting.com ... we are in hopes you will cover not only buried treasure hunting but historical artifacts and how to find these items thru hi-tech equipment, but also thru Dowsing, Remote Viewing and even Astrological analysis.  We are infamous in our field of Dowsing to utilize each of these techniques to find buried treasure, accurately (and missing persons).  You can google... our name Louis Matacia and my daughter Ginette Matacia Lucas.  Ginette is also a psychic, who uses the same buried treasure application to find missing persons, and objects from all over the world.  If you need to reach us, we can be contacted thru our VA phone number 571-358-1444 - good luck on your production.

We are presently working with 5 teams on finding treasure, one in Utah, a former Marine in Colorado, two in Florida, one in Virginia, and one who is in the Coast Guard, who travels, the world and hunts at the same time.  We all have a day job, whether it be mommy, retiree, Military, or computer guru's.  We are on the hunt with our equipment, contacts, and the paranormal ... best wishes - Louis Matacia, and his daughter Ginette

Hello Heather,
Sounds like there are quite a few of us hermits to choose from. You can see a resume and some headshots of me at my website,

. I'm a SAG eligible actor with decades of experience in front of and behind the camera. I've been a producer, director , and talent. I live in Alaska, which is the most vastly beautiful place on the planet (yes I am a little biased). And short of some good ground penetrating radar I run the finest metal detector made, the Minelab GPX 5000. If you need locations I have quite a few friends who are professional miners with claims in a number of different areas. I'm sure we could access a number of those if necessary.
Call me and we can talk.

Hi Heather,

I am interested in learning more about your project.  I have worked in local television for the last 30 years and have appeared numerous times on camera in commercials, promos, live shows, etc.

I've been collecting Civil War relics for almost 30 years and have been metal detecting for almost 23 years.

My passion for Civil War history led to my involvement in writing and producing an award-winning Civil War documentary on a forgotten battle of the Civil War in Indian Territory and later, a follow-up book for the same project.

Best Regards,
Steve Warren

Hi Heather.
Awesome idea, when people hear what myself and hunting partner get up to , they are pretty much hooked on the stories.
I live in Cape Town South Africa, where two oceans meet and one of the most beautiful and vibrant places in the world. We have some pretty wild coastline steeped in history dating from the days of the VOC.
We also have many old wine estates and farms. The great Boer war was fought on our soil and we have many rich treasure hunting grounds yet to be explored. We are a group of guys with a passion for treasure hunting and all that it encompasses, and we form a network across our country. There are many legends of Boer war gold, this in itself could provide you with enough material to fill a whole season!

We hunt inland, on the coast , in the ocean and pretty much anywhere we can. And don't forget the clear mountain pools that people have frequented since who knows when!
Love to help on something like this, and technology makes it possible.
Kind regards
Viking
