That's nice John how much is that in us dollars?

It's about 4500 - 4800 dollars, which is a good price if it don't go up, still I got to wait for a bit yet but that's the sort of thing I want,

I'd be happy with the old set up We had.   Ford Econoline , Hospital bed in back.  Full Tool Kit, spare belt, water pump, other bits.  Enough food for a few months.  Wood BB-Q grill. Gas two burner grill.  Spare Clothes, Blankets, Towels.  All stored under the bed in easy slide plastic Totes.  Cooler between the back doors and bed.   20 x 30 tarp you could secure to the van and poles.  Lawn chairs.   Lap Computer for DVD's and Coms at hot spots.  10 gal water. 5 gal spare gas.  Candles for heat.  A few rechargeable flash lights.

When we were installing Sat Dishes on long halls we never planned on getting home the same day.   We took advantage of the miles they paid and hit every Ghoste Town and lake we could.

I got a good coms rig it has AM,LSB/USB and FM and it puts out about 40 watts, and you can program it to what ever channels you want, it has over 200 AM/FM channels installed already but it can take a lot more and it can reach the US from here no problems, also I have a TV/DVD player that runs off 12 volt and I got the mutha of all battery chargers that puts out 310 Amps on boost and 35 Amps on High plus solar panels etc and 3 inverters.

I had a old Cobra CB and 150 Watt Linear.   I could talk to Hawaii from here on it.   Just used a 4ft Fire Stick antenna.

Yea, The FCC would WACK your Pee Pee for the Linear here.   If I was in the drive way it would black out the TV set in the house.

Arrr right it has 6 Bands ABCDEF that it can store 60 channels in each band and then it has 5 modes plus PA for each Band, which are CW, AM, FM, USB, LSB. so that's a heck of a lot of channels,

Well you can run it as a straight 40 channel rig and if you want there is a little trick where you can get on to the Amature Bands ( 10 Meter Band ) lol it's very simple to use, So far it has the US and EU CB channels in it from about 4 different countries but the US and Aussie channels are all I want.

Yeah nothing beat the standard Cobra Rigs and those new ones have different colored back lights to make it easy on the eyes, so that's a bonus.

I got a 1000 channel scanner somewhere to and a short wave,
