   My school was so old we could shoot .22 on the Foot ball field with a thing called the Marksman club.  Kept our .22 in the locker in the hall way if not too long.   If it was you could keep it in your car or truck.  

  LOL the Welding Class got there Acetylene from a Generator that converted Calcium Carbide to Acetylene   With a drip of water..

Yes things have changed a Bit haven't they, I remember in OZ when you could go the Army Disposals and buy Rifles etc, That's all Changed.

I remember  having  a  shotgun  rack in my truck  window .  And actually  having  a  shotgun  In it during  school 
hours . I remember  once having  to  go  get the shotgun and shooting  a  snake cause  the  principal  was scared of it.
LOL That would  never  happen  today .

I can remember  carrying  a  pocket  knife at school  also.
nowadays  no kids carry a  knife .

Well they Tried to Lynch me for have A Kershaw Wildcat Ridge (same as A Buck Folding Hunter) and then A Police Office Stole It from the Evidence Locker, so after it was Over I threatened them with Court and TV News Crews And the Officer in charge of the Police Station said ( DO WHAT YOU f&%$ing LIKE ) I said Ok I will See you In Half an Hour, and Hung Up, within 10 minutes I got A Phone Call saying I could Pick My Property Up, It Mysteriously  Turn up Again and I got it Back.
The Sargent in charge of Evidence Was caught with It,

I've  got  several  army issue Leatherman  . There a great  utility  knife I keep  one in my  detecting  bag.
