Didn't get the detector out though.   Embarrassed

So you need to re-evaluate your priorities I'd say.   Wise

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

You can die of exposure at 50°F if you are not appropriately clothed. I hate cold too because of my slender stature. No built in insulation. Undecided Stay warm pal.

LOL nah I got things done today I've been putting off for a while  now.
I'll get the detector out of the camper tomorrow and gas it up and get it ready for Tuesday.
For warranty work.
Then I'll try and get to looking for some civil war stuff.

That's Cool Karl, I cant wait til I sort out a Camper for me,  I don't need a Big One, I just need some thing I can be comfortable in,

If it was not for the rain and the cold here I'd get one of them roof top tents,

But I want either a Camper or A Camper Trailer/ Caravan.

I ordered a new Pick yesterday so I can go Detecting, I got no Diggin Tools, The price was right and its hardened steel so I will get me out of trouble for now, Till I can find an email I got sent from OZ,
I was trying to get A Pick from there but my system removed the email and I need Jr or my brother to come and sort this thing out as it eats emails it don't like.

John I've camped in every thing from tents to pop ups (tent camper)  to caravan travel trailers to motor homes.
the easiest for me is travel trailer and motor homes.
I'm too old and broken for tents and tent campers anymore.
If you got questions ask and I'll try to help. If not me then Bill .
or someone else will.

Thanks Mate, I need help coz it's a Bugger trying to stay focussed on my goals,

I got Sleeping gear, Fridges Solar Panels  (3x100watts) and a small generator with a charger for Back up, and I got a lot of off road gear for my truck (All Still In Boxes)
I got 1 x600watt inverter, and 1x 1000w/2500surge Inverter and a small one in the Truck at 310 watts, and I am using 3 X 180Amp Batteries. split into 2 banks so I always have a reserve Back up.

What do you think ??

I have no knowledge of solar I've got a couple of generators.  LOL

Posted on: January 18, 2015, 11:55:44 pm
The motor home is totally self contained.  Has it's own generator.
and we had a portable generator for the travel trailer.  Both of them have built in inverters also.

Posted on: January 18, 2015, 11:58:21 pm
After the motor home comes out of warranty I'd love to add a solar panel system.
