When I was in my 20's (ancient history) I owned a pair of reverb speakers. They were 10 inch diameter with different length springs inside attached to the voice coil mechanism that made the reverb echo. Don't remember the manufacturer. Has anyone heard of these?

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

The next few days will be full of last minute shopping and food arrangements for the big day on Thursday. We don't spend alot of money but it still seems to take a lot of trips out and about!  Peace on earth and good will towards all of you!

I had a Deluxe Reverb when I was a kid.  Boy I wish I still owned it!

We live in a world of sorrows mixed with blessings, don't we?  May you all have more to be thankful for and less sorrow in the days to come.

Pat It's a pity you did not still have it Mate Look At This,

Thanks guys it's been a long day.  A four hour service with military honors etc.
I haven't cried this much in a long time . Brought back lots of memories etc.
I'm glad Iit's over.  But I still miss my friend.  Don't know if I can handle another
one of these anytime soon.

At least tomorrow we have a happy occasion to celebrate.  Our middle daughters birthday.
Put it off from Friday to Sunday . Just hoping everything is better tomorrow.

Hey John . Calm down on the yammer guys and just have fun with them .
It's not worth you letting them get you upset.
Not good for your blood pressure either.    Shocked

Yeah I am Calm, I sorted my post on that page, it might of been a little harsh  Violent Angry Angry

I guess I wasn't feeling the Love on that page, lol

Pat, Here's my New One, It's a Limited Edition Fender Deluxe Reverb FSR (Factory Special Run) They have only allowed the UK 9 of them and there are 200 for the whole of the US

The control panel is Dark Brown and the color scheme are from the 1961 Era Amps.

More people own Bugatti  Than Own these Amps

And to think I forgot how Tubes work.   I remember the 90VDC on the Collector, and  Grid.  6V filament Voltage. I should know this stuff because tubes can survive  a Nuke Stick were Semiconductors will self destruct!

Tube reproduces sounds as the were.   This Digital world uses PCM Pulse Code Modulation that tends to make everything sound Tinny!   You know longer can hear the Fingers Going up and down the strings like you could with the so called Out dated Vinel.   LOL

Pat, a few people say that they don't sound as good as the old ones but the old one were so inconsistent no Two Amps sounded the same where as now they Do, But What Fender Did was Get Many old amps and Measured the Electronics and then Re-Created them baring in mind we/they now have extremely more accurate multimeter's / Scopes which means they are more equal as in performance Right Across the Board On the Black one they use the 65 spec speakers and On My one the Have fitted it with a 1940s - 1960s ALNICO Speaker because they are the best you can Get, Even the Power Amps and the Valves are the Same and My One is Made in the U.S. of A.

Which is Extremely Cool  Kiss Kiss Kiss  Pray Pray Pray as are all the 1965 Series as they are The Vintage Reissue Series, Over here it cost me just under $1800.00 because of import Duty plus 20% VAT (sales tax) so in the US they cost about $1100 to $1400 Huh?.
But it's worth it because the Are the Most Recorded Amp in the world PERIOD,

Here's what Fender Say,
