If you pick a new name of exclusion, that one will become the next cluttered one so do everyone a favor and just pick a subject that deals with what you want to discuss instead of trying to be clever. No kidding. It's time to bring this forum back into the world of inclusiveness instead of excluding people who don't want to waste their time wading through 5000 messages.

Hello Everyone . I have not been following this post at all because of the title . If it was Gold Recovery Methods , I would have been a daily reader and contributor . Since I now have read some bad feedback I wonder if we can start a vote on what to do with this "ART" topic . I wonder how many server megabytes are used or wasted on just this subject . Maybe put this topic in a locked storage . Other Members please comment here !!

Eugene52, It was just a Chit chat on the CHIT CHAT thread for people  finding more aluminum then other goodies .  It was a Joke to start, it was a joke in the end.

Being in the CHIT CHAT thread, I have Had no Problems with it.

It morphed into a social group talking about every day stuff.

We have the Appropriate board for Prospecting called Prospecting Talk.

Why does everyone think CHIT CHATing has to have a firm Subject?

Yes as Stated, it should have been broken up into better threads as subjects came up but then again, it's Chit Chat!

Every one seems to think that all post have to have a Pigeon hole to go in.

This one does Not. (LOL or Does, Chit Chating)

It is what it States, Chit Chat.

I'm sure Christian put this Board in place in hopes of keeping the CHIT CHAT off the serious boards.

He has Expressed his opinion that it's good to have fun.

This is the only board folks can talk about OFF Subject / Subjects and just goof off.

I believe if the Chat Link gets resurrected, it would alleviate this stress.

Should We  just do away with it if it's such a problem?

This stuff would be much better disgusted in the MOD thread.

I my self don't frequent the Yami Threads.  I have No Interest in them.

As for Band Width, I call it Storage Space, This is the drip in the bucket to a few Megabit Photos.

The Art thread was working on bringing in some funds that could have impacted the Next Server we was placed on.

To date I know as a fact it was bringing in $20-50.00 dollars a month and growing.

Why any one would put a Ca Bosh on funds coming in, I have NO Ideas!

This subject should go to the MOD thread.

It all comes down to 5000 post of nonsense there is very little treasure related info here. If we want to lead the forum into a social networking site then lets continue the path we are on. But if we want to build a treasure site about Thunting, metal detecting and building metal detectors we need to rethink the Chit Chat and its sub boards Politics and Religion.

Yes. There is no problem with this thread in Chit Chat. There is only a problem when someone finds it and cannot figure it out because it is 5000+ messages long. When a brilliant discussion topic erupts here, it should become the rule of "ART" law that it be posted again, not moved, in the appropriate place so it can get the attention it deserves. Just tell everyone reading the ART thread that you have posted this or that information again in the appropriate forum and ask them to continue discussion there. How hard is that?

I simply do not understand all the anger over doing that simple thing. After all, each moderator has been asked to help keep the forum organized. Why is the ART thread exempt?
