You know you guys are unbelievable the other night you wanted a list of who lived where, you were told that most people did not list a location in their profile. When asked to help upgrade the profiles all y'all can do is whine ain't that a mods job I am not going to do that. You wonder why we got 3 mod's doing all the behind scenes jobs its because anytime we ask for help thats what we get whining. Forget about it I will do it myself. Thanks for trying John but now you know what your up against.

Well from my point of view I just feel Like i'm holding back when I talk to these people
coz you guys jump right in and your off to a flying start

ME, I Feel like a one legged man @ an A$$ Kicking contest.

And I see the flags Like the US Flag I know that I have a good chance of getting on with that person,
It's the same with the name Kim I never know if that person is male or female so and that can be interesting too

Cache, you're a good guy and a great member.   I really don't think Seldom meant you when he said "you guys" in his latest post.  You've made it very clear time and time again that you care about the members of THunting.com as people as well as forum members.    You've been very supportive of just about everything that has been done to support the site as a whole and the members as individuals.

What brought this whole thing up was that several members, primarily from the ART group (to the credit of the group) asked if there was a way to find out where members were from in light of all the recent disasters around the world.   There isn't a way unless people voluntarily provide their information.  As homefire pointed out, that information is strictly optional, so a lot of people do NOT provide it for personal security reasons.   Others choose only to fly the flag of their country (while others choose to fly a different flag for reasons of their own).  I'm one of those who did not provide their location information (other than my flag), but chose to do so because the members wanted to know in case something happened in my area.

Yeah, homefire, there is a Mod who could do that----me!   But somethings sound and are better when they come from a member rather than an "authority" figure.   Besides, by my count there are 3 Moderators who are regular members of this particular chat group.


So, all that was asked was "if you want to be able to find out what members might be effected by a disaster, then you can help gather the data by asking them to fill out that part of their profile....even if it is in very vague and general terms".   And if they say "No", they say no.   No big deal.
