OK! This is a Test for ya Homeland Security type folks out there. Yes the Siltstone's have been known to spike water with Ethanol in order to Gain Entry into yer Brains!
1. You have two water bottles full with a clear Liquid. One has hooch in it, the other just plain ol Distilled water.
2. How do you tell the difference if one is Hooch and the other Water? NO you can't Open and Taste or Smell em.
If you shake a bottle of water distilled or not, it will form bubble on the top while some will still be forming and going to the top.
Ethanol, will not form any bubble of more then the blink of a eye and No bubbles will form from within the Suspect Liquid.
This is your first Test within the Realm of Alcohol 101.

How much Ethanol is in the gas you buy? Few has NONE, most are at 10%.
1. You Insert 100 drops of Gas in a Test Tube. If your a Alumni, You can fudge by only using 25 drops and doing the Math.
2. You add 100 Drops of Distilled Water in the same Test Tube.
3. Important Step: WITH A STOPPER!, on the Test Tube ( UNLESS YOUR NOT A Alumni and like committing Self Immolation) Shake the Test Tube from End to End for the count of 10.
4. As Petro Products ( For you American Type Gas and Oil) do not mix with water.
5. Let the mix settle for 30 seconds and check out the difference. Remember Petro and Water will not and can not mix.
6. You should have a 50/50 petro floating on the water if it was Strait Peto or Gas.
7. The legal limits on regular gas in the US. (Califoricated is not part of the US.) is 10% max.
8. A little more math is required if you get away from the 100 Drops as first mentioned. Ok , I'm lazy , I do the 100.
A: The difference between the Water level and the Petro level is the amount of Ethonal in the gas.
You know you only put 100 drops of Petro.
You know you only put 100 drops of DISTILLED water.
You know that Petro products can not and will not mix with water.
But did you know that Ethanol will and can mix with water but not so well with Petro Product's?
If what appears to be the water level (BOTTOM level held from Open end held Upright fer ya Different folks) is more then you placed in the Test tube , That's Ethanol or in some unscrupulous Vender's Methanol. ( Methanol has more Calorific Value then Ethanol More Punch per gal/liter/Oz. But does bad bad, BAD things to Rubber components in your engine.
And there ya Go! I just fried one of the 20 Brain cell that was still functional!
