One time in Incirlik Turkey we had a Recreation Club set up and paid for by members.
We had a Island rented from the Turks on Adana lake.
We needed a boat.
This one guy said he would take care of it.
He told every one to be there on a certain date with basic tools , Ratchets, Wrenches and the stuff.

Durring the middle of the usual BB-Q he Yelled out There Here!!
Like a bunch of sheep we all looked at him wondering what ta hell he was talking about. Over the lake a Huey Chopper was a crusing.
They got about 150 yards from the Island and two big ass Pontoons fell from the sides of this thing.
They hit the water bounced about 10ft off the water and came to a skidding stop on the edge of the Island.
External Fuel tanks for a B-52 they make one hell of a Pontoon boat.
We had it put together in about 5 hours and on the water.
What a Hoot.
Never! Never ! Say NCO's don't know how to get Chit Done!
During the Winter you could drive out to the Island because of low water levels.
