I started collecting the banks and automobilia years ago, got some signs etc, even a few pedal cars etc, it's cheaper than collecting the real Car's !!  Wink

the hard part is having enough room to display everything !! been collecting this stuff since the kids were little bitty, some of its been all over the world with us! not sure how much it would all be worth now a days.
i do have a under writer on the home's insurance policy on them though, I guess the smart thing to do would be to go get them all appraised and then redo the policy for that amount .

Grin  Grin  Grin U got that right !! and I just enjoy messing with them and they make great conversation pieces also.

Don't u have to pay someone to do the appraisal stuff anyways ?? Wonder how much that would be??

and do they charge by the piece or by the lot or is it part of the net worth of collection etc ?? anyone know??

I bet whatever it's worth now is a lot less than before the recession.   Cry

I think 1 is a 48 chevy duelie tow truck and an old inter,  59 chevy pickup, 34 roadster red with white flames and key and a hidie hole underneith, a jaguar XJ 220 thats about 16 to 18" long with seat belts, steering etc that was the fastest production car at the time,
I got a blue boss 69/70 mustang + more trucks
