Yep that does not surprize me because Dorset was a main Smugglers Area, All along the south coast was rife with Me Arty's

Hey waazzz up fellas  Great, who's still around & what's been going on guys?

I'm back again I hope. I've been offline for what seems a couple years. Man does time fly or what.
Been busy taking care of my ill Mom and elderly dad, along with property and everything else it seems. But I'm glad to be back, never intended to get away from y'all, but you know how that can be.

Cheers,
Jim

YO, Jimbo Glad to see you again, I did send you an email a while back but maybe it got lost,  No to worry,

Take Care.

J.

I'm doing ok mate, I can't go detecting for about 18 months the Doc said, Not until my chest has healed, I went to the hospital last week and I asked them why I found metal in my chest, The Doc was surprized when I told him I found them with a metal detector, LOL.

I made a post here probably 8 years ago where I admitted doing that very thing. Except I didn't yake nearly so long in discovering my error.

Back in the '70's I worked in a particleboard plant where I wore steel-toed boots.  I would go out detecting in the boots, forgetting about the toes.  I was convinced a couple of times that I had found big treasures!  Unlike the guy in the post, I realized what was happening before I began digging!    Shocked
