Homie!  Good to hear from you!  Nice to know you're still out and kickin' about!  Take care my friend!

Carl,  I was in Arizona about the third week of May or thereabouts.  Riding motorcycle with a very hard, gusty crosswind from Kingman to Flagstaff to Winslow (yes, I stood on the corner!) to Holbrook and on to Gallup, NM.  Weather wasn't bad except for that infernal wind!  Three days of riding in it!  Glad I got out of the Southwest when I did before temperatures went up!

Arfie,
You know how the song goes......"When you're going through hell, keep on going, don't look back, you just might get out before the devil even knows you're there".......well the devil showed up about 10 days ago. Phoencians go north to Flagstaff in summer, like the snowbirds come down here when it's winter up there. You would die down here in summer wearing leather and a helmet. You would look like a lobster left in the pot too long.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

I agree. An "Out to Lunch" sign was suggested by me earlier.

As far as why is it important? Well, I was referring to this question:
Quote:Posted by {author}
As for the rest of you guys...   where you all hiding at?  Three days without a post on here...        ?
The weather has been so beautiful across the country and everyone here is chomping at the bit to go out. Shouldn't even be a question at all.

Yes, Carl, I rode in short sleeves for several of the last days...   stayed cooler but got "lobsterized" a little.   had a good tan going in, but when I got home I got to do the re-peel all over again!

Temperatures the last two days here have been in the mid-90'sF.  Getting warm now!     Devil

Anyway y'all have a good time.

Who remembers these? Came across them cleaning in the shop. I ordered mine 2'x3' and was going to put them on my postal jeep I chopped the top on and us it to go detecting with a few years back, but someone wanted the jeep more than me. So I installed one on the shop window.
