Just a beautiful day in the park. 76° F and a fresh breeze blowing. Just got here and found 3 dimes and five good pennies. Arizona Paradise.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Yes Homie, competition is getting greater now that detectors are getting cheaper to buy. Your level of competition is about the same there as it is here in the big city. We have over 200 parks and about 500 detectorists competing for every little thing that someone might lose. It is not uncommon to see 3 or 4 detectorists in the same park. It all comes down to the same thing. Knowing your detector better than your best friend, treating it better than your best friend, because it is your best friend..........that is next to your wife of course.

Did you Pi-rate scallywags celebrate international
Pi day yesterday?

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (3/14 in the month/day date format) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π] In 2009, the United States House of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day.

I thought I could celebrate it with 3.14 pi's, but the bakery said they only bake whole pi's which confused me , so I decided to divide the pi into pi pieces, but the waitress looked at me in an evil way with the pi in her hand and I ran out quickly because I was afraid I was about to wear it.

Humble pi. Didn't even give it a minute (1/60 degree) of thought.
