I agree Homefire,
it's all chemically grown or genetic hybrid seed, and you cant even reproduce the stuff from what's grown with it.....I'm glad we have a box full of the old seeds from back about 15 yrs ago, but who knows if they would grow now.  (Yeah, nothing really taste the same anymore)

Cheers,
Jim

The ability to thank someone is generated by an add on which you can find on the SMF home page after searching there. When you go to the add on, you can see if it works on non public pages. Due to the large number of non treasure related posts here, Christian made this topic into a members only page meaning only members can see it. That may be built into the add on that generates the Thanks button.

I liked your dog post Home's but it said error? I got the tiller on the tractor today, tilled enough ground in the garden for the onions. Plant some tomorrow & wait a few weeks to plant the rest with the spuds on St Pattys day!!  Winds gusts up to 50 mph. Came in the house looking like Buckwheat...

Go Up Go Down

Well I thought I was over getting too emotional on pets even at my age, but I know that I have always gotten attached to our pets; they're one of the family.

Our Loving Cat called "Lulu" pasted away yesterday shortly after noon day.

She was 20 years old in a couple months from now, and a really good & loving Cat.
She was going blind in both eye's over the past year, and about 4 months ago, she started getting just slightly thinner in weight, didn't think much of it as the weeks go by other than she wasn't feeling well and didn't eat as much. Then she's eat like she always did. Well in the past month, she started to get thinner and she broke one of her bottom canine tall teeth, and that hampered her from being able to eat like she normally did....In the last 5 days, she seemed thinner to me and she wasn't walking as well, and she would also make some groaning's as if she was in some pain, but not a lot. 3 days before she passed away, she seemed to have lost some of her bladder control & went on the carpet slightly in a couple spots, her balance was also going some while walking, and in the day prior to her dying that's when I knew that she was pretty bad and wouldn't last much longer, the next morning she wouldn't hardly move from the couch, and I picked her up & held her as I have throughout the years, and she passed away in my arms.

The ground is well frozen up here in upstate New York, but I wrapped her in her favorite small fleece blanket & went outside and got the pick and shovel out which took awhile to breakthrough the frost line, and buried her in a spot where she used to like sitting, while she would watch me work on the cars out in the backyard.

Yeah, she was a good pet & I guess I was very attached to her, as well as my other family members were to her.

Thanks guys, just wanted to tell you about Lulu.

Jim
