It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Spit'in ice crystal's here today in camp Girard. In the 20's. Thunder and the rest of our critters are in a climate controlled environment. (70-ish)  Me, I'm camping in today. Think I'll build on the model I received for x-mas today....

Cashe,   I find it hard to feel sorry for you.  Here I am 30 miles from the Mexican Line  and we were hitting the 17  -  20  F range last week.   My guess is being in the HIGH Desert has something to do with it.  4,400 Ft.    Today it's 55F.   In the morning it's going to be like 25F...  or less.   Need to keep the water at  fast drip or it's not going to be there in the morning.

No need to feel sorry for me Homes, we're used to it. The weather has definitely been changing all around the country. Its just been so mild here until now....I'd never thought it would get that cool where you are. There's no doubt, all this has a bearing on getting older, lol One thing for sure...We do not get the S we used to.  Wife tryed running me out to the shop this morning. I told her it was a S day....

Now Sam McGee was from Tennessee, where the cotton blooms and blows.
Why he left his home in the South to roam 'round the Pole, God only knows.
He was always cold, but the land of gold seemed to hold him like a spell;
Though he'd often say in his homely way that "he'd sooner live in hell."
