Cache you still have that tree ?

Posted on: December 19, 2015, 11:18:30 pm
We had one when I was a kid. Not sure what happened to it.
Don't know if Mom still has it or not.
I'm looking across the room at it as we speak, its got to be around 50 years old. It was my parents. We put it up ever few years. Its held up well. But its getting fragile.

It's great to have family Items like that because it brings back the memories of every Christmas that it shared,  Cool.

Well if it was'nt for the many many photo's my father toke along with 8mm film, I would'nt remember many Christmas's with this tree, I'd only been around 7 or 8. My dad was BIG on taking pictures and we have them all from before I was born. Super 8 film & 35 mm Slides as well. Ever year I tell  Kiss we need to get all these photo's put on CD's. If it was'nt for the pictures I would not remember much of the past. And not just Christmas. There's some of when we went many years in a row to the Indy 500. I had to be around 5.  Moral of my little story is to take lots of pictures of family for many of reason...

Well Christian said he is redoing the landing page and not including chit chat or birthdays etc.
To keep the board looking busier with treasure instead of birthdays and chit chat etc..

Now had I told you that, you'd have stomped me with both feet. I had a feeling that was the reason. He wants to restore the ration of treasure to non treasure posts.

Sorry, guys, but it must be done.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
