Figure 45 feet for the coach 20 feet for the pickup and 3 to 4 feet for the tow bar probably  closer to 60 feet.

Which is what mine is with the boat.

Yes . The longer the trailer the easier but there are different variables also as far as how many axles and where there placed and weight ratio etc. That's why it's always best to practice in a big empty lot .
