I had a 68 Dart with a 318ci and I had a 69/70 Dart with a 245 motor I got out of a speedway Car and it would Eat anything, I really Modded that thing yet it looked like ya Daddys car,  The Bloke who bought it wanted it for his son til he was warned about it and in the end he kept it for him self, For a big car it did 0 to 60 in about 5.4 second, The first week it killed 2 clutches and an Auto box hence why I converted it to Manual so I got the Gear box out of a Track car and the Dash, and modded the springs shocks etc and it handled like a sled on rails,, It use to do over 110mph in Second, dang it was Fast.

When I was a kid the guy across the road had a 66 GTO.   He torched out the Wheel wells in back so he could fit G-60 tires on it.  God the thing was UGLY !  Rust holes all over the place.  Dents all over.  It would turn 1/4 mile in 11 seconds.

He called it the RATS AZZZZ.

Funny that I had 2 mates over here one had a 65 GTO Red with a black vynil top and George had a 66 Bright Orange with a back Vynil Roof with the Tacho built into the Hood right in front of the driver.

They were the last of the Good ones except THE JUDGE Kiss Kiss Kiss

Nice car. I had a 1959 and a 1960 Mercury Comet. Love them both.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.
