I'm from Sardinia, there are stories about people that steal lambs (years around 1800) to others and hide under the camp fire, so they achieve two objectives:
1 - the lamb is secured in case of inspection from the police or other farmers
2 - the lamb is cooked properly (this is an ancient cooking method that i believe exist all around the world)

I don't think modern loots stoled with the help of Mr. Kalashinkov are buried under camp fire but i want ask a question...

any information about cache under camp fires ?
