Hello all, I live in Upstate SC in Rock Hill SC.  I am originally from Lancaster SC and I am just looking for someone in my are who would be interested in detecting.  I know of several sites I would like to check out and I know where some old Gold surface claims are.  I can't promise anything will be found, just think it would be fun to go looking about.

Thanks.

B.

No one I believe.  Someone I am sure owns the property. I am going to ride out there and check out the details.  It's listed as a past producer and it was a surface mine.  As a matter of fact, it looks like the forest was harvested about ten years ago.  Sat pictures show what looks like new growth about 5 to 10 years old.  Which may mean that the land now belongs a power company that harvests the trees in rotation to feed the local paper pulp mill.  Noone lives anywhere near the property.
Going to go snoop around this weekend to see if its posted.
