This was found out near Brandy Station, Va as part of one of the organized Diggin in Va hunts. Not sure why noone got it before me - down in a planting furrow, partially visible. It's a Union Drummer Boy's buckle to hold his drumsticks. Don't see too many of these intact or relatively intact. I have one or two drum holders themselves but no other complete buckles.
